Backend Developer Intern

Toppan Digital Language - Madrid, Spain

Challenge: Development of internal company processes based on a service using Machine Learning on a RoBERTa Transformers-based model, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Named Entity Recognition (NER).

Action: Assisted the development of this service through the implementation of Data Access services using Graph QL and also Unit/Integration testing throughout the whole process.

Result: Contributed to the internal deployment of this model that makes a big impact to our company's scope of clients, opening significantly the market opportunities, and also saves a big amount of time on our internal processes and tasks facilitating a faster delivery to our customers.

Territory Manager (South America and Canada)

UTR Sports - Palo Alto, CA

Challenge: To expand and elevate tennis and the presence of the brand in South America and Canada by bringing innovative prospects to Clubs and Associations in these countries and provide more opportunities to players in the region.

Action: Spearheaded new sales initiatives to attract new clubs and associations, developed new circuit of tournaments, oversaw and enhanced relationships with existing clients.

Result: Contributed with the expansion of the tournaments of big importance that distributed over $200,000 USD in Argentina and Canada and to the other regions which provides competition and prize money opportunities for players and visibility with those tournaments itself in platforms such as Amazon Video, innovating and elevating tennis and increasing the exposure of the brand in my region.

Program Manager (College Dpt.)

UTR Sports - Palo Alto, CA

Challenge: Expansion of the UTR brand and projects into Universities across the US by helping College Coaches and bringing more competition opportunities for players.

Action: Promotion and sale of two key products, 'Summer Camps' and 'College Circuits,' to college tennis coaches, which helps driving revenue for their programs and brings competition opportunities to players.

Result: Contributed growth of department revenue by 63% and strengthened college coach relationships with our brand by helping them make revenue with our projects which brought competition and prize money opportunities to college and junior players.

Web Developer (Wordpress, PHP, JavaScript and SASS)

Cardinal Digital Marketing - Atlanta, GA

Challenge: Company needed to expand offerings, accelerate time of development and deliver products to clients faster, in a development team of two people.

Action: Built a modular Landing Page builder which contains over 60 reusable modules and contributed on maintenance of current client sites.

Result: Helped increase company delivery of products by 10x with boilerplate sites that were already built and cultivated an efficient work environment.
